PREMIER EQUINE — EQUESTRIAN CATALOGUE — 2023
Overview
Created a complete online retail photography workflow for Premier Equine to present a riding jacket with the clarity and visual quality expected from a premium equestrian brand.
The final set combined full length product photography, close up construction details and outdoor lifestyle imagery, giving customers a clearer understanding of the jacket before purchase.

Problem
Premier Equine needed to turn a limited number of raw product captures into a polished and cohesive online gallery.
The photography had to achieve four goals:
- Represent the navy fabric and white branding accurately.
- Show the jacket's fit, shape and proportions.
- Highlight practical details such as the collar, zips and sleeve branding.
- Demonstrate the garment in a relevant horse and rider setting.
The central challenge was to make studio, close up and outdoor images feel like one consistent product set while keeping the workflow realistic and efficient.
Process
Select the strongest images
Reviewed the available raw photographs and selected 10 final images that provided the strongest combination of fit, detail and lifestyle context.
Prioritised captures that answered practical customer questions rather than including multiple images that communicated the same information.
Correct colour in Lightroom
Improved colour accuracy and consistency by adjusting exposure, white balance, contrast and navy fabric tones in Adobe Lightroom.
Created a unified visual treatment across studio and outdoor photographs despite differences in lighting and background conditions.
Retouch in Photoshop
Refined the selected photographs by removing distractions, correcting minor fabric issues and sharpening important product details.
Preserved realistic skin texture, garment construction and environmental detail so the final results remained polished without appearing artificial.
Prepare online retail crops
Created consistent hero, detail and lifestyle crops for the required website image positions.
Prepared each image with uniform framing, tonal balance and export settings to support a clean product gallery experience.
Upload the product set
Organised the 10 finished images into a clear viewing sequence, beginning with the full garment and progressing through fit, lifestyle use and construction details.
Uploaded the final files in a consistent order so customers could assess the product quickly and confidently.
