Overview
Redesigned Lindsey Lodge Hospice's Summer Superdraw raffle ticket to improve participation, simplify completion and strengthen recognition of the fundraising campaign.
Combined a detachable participant information stub with a clearly structured main ticket, using a soft purple, blue and white palette alongside balloons, bunting and confetti to create a warmer and more celebratory experience.
The final design retained all required event, charity and regulatory information while making the most important actions easier to identify.

Problem
The original ticket presented more than 10 essential information points within a dense, text led layout, making deadlines, participant fields and compliance messages difficult to scan.
Customer information, event instructions and regulatory content competed for attention, increasing the likelihood of incomplete stubs and late returns.
The redesign needed to achieve four goals:
- Make key instructions immediately visible.
- Separate participant details from event information.
- Preserve all legal and responsible gambling content.
- Create a more positive and engaging fundraising asset.
Process
Organise the content hierarchy
Reorganised 100% of the required ticket copy into approximately five levels of information, beginning with the ticket number and event title before moving through participant actions, supporting details and legal content.
Prioritised the return deadline, draw date and minimum purchasing age to ensure supporters could locate the most important information quickly.
Build the two part layout
Created a clearly separated detachable stub and main ticket to distinguish handwritten information from campaign and compliance details.
Added dedicated fields for four title options, participant name and contact telephone number to simplify completion and reduce missing information.
Develop the campaign identity
Applied a coordinated purple, blue and white palette to connect the ticket with Lindsey Lodge Hospice's established visual identity.
Introduced three celebratory elements (balloons, bunting and confetti) to create a more inviting summer campaign feel without reducing readability.
Improve readability
Refined type size, weight, spacing, alignment and contrast across both ticket sections.
Grouped supporting information into shorter blocks and gave the three primary actions stronger visual emphasis:

Prepare the final print artwork
Checked the detachable structure, ticket numbering, logo placement and content hierarchy before preparing the final production files.
